Hard Enamel custom lapel pins are for formal events, where a high end look features a smooth polished surface and precious metal plating. It is a modern version of the classic Cloisonné hard enamel pin.  Custom shapes are also available and encouraged. Hard Enamel is a high quality, but less expensive alternate to true Cloisonné, and is the most popular substitute for creating classy, high end lapel pins at an affordable price.  The appearance of our Hard Enamel lapel pin is so close to that of a Cloisonné pin; it often takes an experienced eye to tell them apart.  No epoxy is ever used on this pin type.It is properly known as imitation hard enamel, imitation Cloisonné or simply hard enamel.
